Our Junior Camp is not that far away so be sure to register your boy or girl who is ages 9, 10 or 11 as soon as possible! This year we have plenty of fun and excitement planned for these kids.

Discipleship, Leadership Training and Family Camp might be a mouthful to say, but don’t let that scare you. Discipleship of believers has been central to this first week of summer camps since it’s inception and is evermore crucial to reinforce and revisit as time goes on. Leadership is taught to each one as we each have a role to play at camp and at home. At a minimum we all have at least one person to lead: ourselves. Training is imparted at this camp on how to be effective at SWBC in various roles that carry over to home and church life. We each come from a family of some kind, and we know that the enemy would like nothing more than to make the believing family ineffective and dormant.

Discipleship leadership Training and Family Camp may be a long title, but it accurately conveys our focus and drive. Won’t you join us?

Labor Day weekend is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the summer, enjoy fellowship and the serenity of the Glenwood area during the weekend. We look forward to seeing you there! Ministry from God’s word will be shared by Mark Beach. Mark and his wife, Gail are currently based in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Mark has most recently served at Everyday Publications in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada.  Mark's current main focus is to serve assembly missionaries and ministries with Bible and publishing projects and to strengthen and encourage the saints in the Southwest.  Mark and his wife fellowship at Bethel Bible Fellowship in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Labor Day Weekend, Mark will speak on, "Laying Hold of the Prize", using Paul's exhortation to the Philippians to speak about gaining, finding and knowing Christ!
